The New York International Auto Show, an event that I have been religiously attending for over twenty years. The show usually runs for ten days at the end of March. This year is the first year that I will be attending with an official media pass, which I am totally psyched about.
Before going see all the new 2011 cars this year, I thought it would be a good idea to reflect back. Even in my early teenage years I knew I wanted to write or talk about cars. Each year at the show I would take a ton of pictures with a cheap 35mm point-and-shoot camera and have them developed at a 1-hour photo as soon as I got back home. Being that the internet did not exist at the time, I found anyone and everyone I could to discuss the cars and my pictures with. It was brutal, no one escaped.
