Lotus proactive Magazine spotlight: proActive, The Official Industry Newsletter of Lotus Engineering

Several years ago my friend Bob Knox introduced me to a little known car magazine. The magazine is published by just-auto.com for Lotus Engineering. Well written, the magazine has a very succinct approach to automotive industry news overall and goes deeper into the happenings at Lotus. proActive also features interviews with technology group leaders as well as many interesting aspects of the automotive industry which are often transparent to the average person.

While the bi-monthly magazine is targeted at automotive engineers, any car enthusiast will find it interesting and educational. Upon hearing the name Lotus many imagine an Exige ripping around a test track, but it is not necessarily so. What many are not aware of is that Lotus Engineering offers engineering consultancy to many manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers, perhaps you have heard of claims that some car’s suspension system (older Isuzu Impulse comes to mind) was designed by Lotus. Turns out that Lotus Engineering does a lot more than just suspension system, and this magazine gives you a peek into that world.

The magazine can be found on just-auto.com website or Lotus Group website and downloaded for free. You can also sign up to receive an email every time a new issues comes out.  Enjoy!
