F40 Motorsports Open House
F40 Motorsports, hosted its annual Open House this weekend. Located in Portland Connecticut, about an hour-and-half drive from either Boston or New York City, it is a restoration shop and dealership made famous by HD Theater‘s show Chasing Classic Cars.
Some time ago I visited F40 for their monthly Cars & Coffee event and was overwhelmed by the amazing machinery there. This event however was much greater, with almost 300 cars showing off and probably close to a thousand visitors. This time around the F40 garages and work shops were open for a glance and more modern exotics showed up.
I will let the pictures do the talking, but there was really something for everyone there. Notables included a Ferrari Enzo and Ford GT. Just about every affordable Ferrari from the last three decades was there, and surprisingly none had to be towed home. Porsches of all ages and types were represented in large numbers. Most interesting to me were the less flamboyant but equally unique cars such as the Alfa Romeos, Fiats and one beautiful Audi Quattro. Inside the showroom was a very rare Bugatti 57SC and a Mercedes 300SL. Enjoy the pictures.
