		<description>I lived in Cuba as a child for the first 9 years of my life. I have visited several times. I have to say that it really is cool to see so many 1950s cars still in use. Back when I lived in Cuba, they were a lot more common than when I last visited (Dec 2008). It seems like they are being slowly phased out, sadly.. but you still do see a loooooooooooooooooooooooooot of 1940s &amp; 1950s cars...

btw it&#039;s not really poverty... people aren&#039;t &quot;poor&quot; because they choose it, they live in the circumstances they do.. due to the communist government... advancement has been impeded by both the american embargo and the communist government.... the people don&#039;t have guns to be able to fight back/overthrow the government so yea, can&#039;t do much...</description>

		<description>the Cuba article was great, pictures were fantastic.  It bothers the hell out of me that I lived the better part of my life a raft-ride away from Cuba and haven&#039;t yet been able to go.  Maybe some day soon :)</description>
