Carbon Motors E7, It Actually Exists!

2896 360x500 carbon motors e7 5 Carbon Motors E7, It Actually Exists! For the past year or so, a company called Carbon Motors was claiming that they are building a police-specific vehicle called the E7. The vehicle is suppose to be designed and made exclusively for police departments and offer features that cannot be had on civilian vehicles which are converted for police duty. The only problem is, no one has seen the car in real life. Until now…

This is the only E7 currently in existence. While it is a prototype and still under development, Carbon Motors is using it as a show-car at Police conventions too. The car starts and is drivable and currently on display in Sacramento. Pictures were taken by my friend Andy with his cell phone. Unfortunately he did not get any interior shots. He 2895 360x500 carbon motors e7 4 Carbon Motors E7, It Actually Exists! spoke with several Carbon Motors representatives; they basically described the car to him and allowed for these pictures to be posted.

E7 Specifications:

These were taken directly from the Carbon Motors website. The engine is the same BMW diesel found in the 335d and X5d.
